| Required monthly lots | Monthly cashback target (JPY) ÷ cashback per lot (JPY) |
| Lots per day | Required monthly lots ÷ trading days per month |
The guide in 0.01-lot steps is shown rounded up.
How to work backward from a target
The amount of cashback is proportional to trading volume. If you know your monthly target and the cashback per lot, the required volume is a simple division.
For example, with a target of 30,000 yen a month and a cashback of 5 USD (750 yen), you need 40 lots a month. Divided over 20 days, that is 2 lots a day.
How to take the result
If the number of lots that comes out is too large for your current volume or capital, lower the target instead. Cashback is something that comes back as a result of trading, not something to aim for.
- If the required lots are more than double your current volume, treat the target as too high
- Increasing lots raises your risk of loss first, and it easily exceeds the amount the rebate covers
- Switching to an account with a higher cashback brings you closer to the target more safely than increasing lots
Points to note
Cashback per broker will be published on each broker page at launch. This tool only performs calculations and does not recommend increasing your volume or any particular broker.
