FAQ
How It Works
Q.What is offshore forex cashback?
It is a system that passes part of the referral compensation a broker pays to its partner (IB) back to the trader. It is calculated based on trading volume (lots) and is paid whether you win or lose.
Q.What is auto-rebate?
It is a feature in which the broker's system automatically credits the cashback for each trade to your trading account. Unlike the traditional model where a site totals and transfers payouts, there is no application and no waiting for a transfer.
Q.Will using XBack raise my trading costs?
No. The source of funds is the referral compensation paid by the broker, and spreads and commissions are the same as when you do not use a referral link. If conditions change, we state it clearly on the broker page.
Receiving Cashback
Q.When and where is cashback credited?
It differs by broker. As a rule, it is credited automatically to your trading account balance, for example daily. The crediting timing will be published on each broker page at launch.
Q.Do I need to apply or register?
If you open an account through the dedicated XB link and complete identity verification, no further application is needed. You do not need to register as a member of XB either.
Q.Can I withdraw cashback?
Because it is credited as your trading account balance, you can withdraw it according to the broker's withdrawal rules. As a rule, there are no withdrawal restrictions like those on bonuses.
Conditions
Q.Is an account I already have eligible?
New accounts opened through the dedicated XB link are eligible. Whether an existing account can be linked differs by broker, so we will state it for each broker at launch.
Q.Can I combine it with bonuses?
It depends on the broker's terms. We will publish on each broker page which brokers allow it and which do not at launch.
Q.Are there trades that do not earn cashback?
Depending on the account type or instrument, a trade may be excluded or the payout may differ. Check the conditions for each broker on its broker page.
Tax and Safety
Q.Is cashback taxable?
It may be taxable as income (this applies to Japanese residents). For specifics such as how to combine it with your trading profit and loss, check with a tax accountant or the National Tax Agency of Japan.
Q.Do I need to give XBack my personal information?
No. Account opening and identity verification are done on the broker's site, and XBack does not receive your account information or identity documents.
Q.Who runs XBack?
XBack is operated by the XBack Operations Office. See the operator information page for details.
